Scottish Folds have a rectangular body, medium-high paws, a medium or long flexible tail, tapering towards the end. And if you decide to buy a purebred kitten, then you need to do this in a specialized and certified cattery, where the breeder is working not only to improve the external data of the pets but also selects producers that meet the Scottish Fold character standard.

It's amazing: they are not aggressive, they are friends with almost all pets, they love every family member, they allow children to do various pranks, they practically do not meow, they're very affectionate, at the same time they are smart, quick-witted, with dignity, and are incredibly curious.
And a responsible, competent breeder will never use an animal that has “bad” traits in a breeding program. Because they are often inherited.
Therefore, before you buy a Scottish Fold kitten, carefully study the breed, talk personally with the breeder, make sure that together with the pet you receive a package of documents confirming its origin. If possible, visit the cattery and get to know your chosen cat personally. And then you will enjoy communicating with this wonderful creature for many years.
